Frenched front & taillights

Maked up some taillight extension housing of rounded metal,

with edge rolled. With 3 "bars"
pressed on sides.

  Shaped against the fender

Adjusted mount to get the cateye style slanted.
Mock-up finished together with installed 39´Ford teardrop taillights

This is the former sight of the front lamps.
Extended lip over light, but still use of the original bezel.

After some research i´d frenched the frontlights by fastning the bucket at inside, instead of outside of the fender.Just by loosen screws, remount at rear w/screws other way....

The original bezel was adjusted against the lamp & fender, to get an flowing shape of mounting. Then welded.

Finished result. The glass is now flowing together with the welded bezeledge, and "cateye" trim fitted against surrounded edge. Adjustment is now reworked, and done from inside the fender.

The Park/ turn lights in new grille is glued in place in the oval shaped openings done in the grillebar.
Theese gonna get some eyebrows later. . .

(They are reworked Escort sideturn lights)
