FENDERSHIRTS / CRUISERSHIRTS
To make a real cruiser get the look of long, low flowing lines, fendershirts are the main thing.
Open wheelopenings, showing rear wheels aren´t right for the cruizer. Shirts was mounted on the cars back in the 40s, but customizers also have incorporated them to the 30s cars, with good results. In the custom era in the mid - end of the 50s, shirts was nearly on every built car.

Its different styles who suits their type of cars, are:
Fendershirts - shirts who cover most of the wheelopening, sometimes flush with fender, and also outside.
Cruisershirts - big, long ones covers up most of the lower 1/3 to half of the rear fender, back to the rear bumber.Lower part follows the lower carlines.
Bubbleshirts - Big ones similar to cruisershirts, but bubbled in shape, and go lower than than the lower lines of the car. Theese are the main option to get the rear of car seems lower than it is.
